Andrew Sale
Andrew created Wolsey Mortgage from the frustrations of working for several high street lenders. Knowing that he could offer higher levels of customers service than that offered on the high street and wanting to provide his customers a better range of products from a variety of lenders, Wolsey Mortgage was born! With 27 years’ experience in the mortgage and banking industry, Andrew prides himself on treating customers as he would like to be treated himself and this creates the foundation for everything the team does at Wolsey. Andrew is always looking for ways to improve the customer experience and is passionate about making the process of getting a mortgage as straight forward as possible.
Outside of the office Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking and country walks which inevitably end up at the pub!
Emma Warvill
I have been with Wolsey since April 2025 as a Client Account Manager and I am really enjoying the role with no two days being the same! I hope to progress within the company as my experience grows. I have over 10 years of customer service and administration experience which is what I know Wolsey take pride in. When I am not working I am busy being a mum to 2 children and 2 little dogs, I enjoy fun days out and reading books when I get a spare few minutes.
Stacey Balls
Stacey has been with Wolsey since June 2024 as a Mortgage Broker. She completed her CeMAP qualification before joining us and was excited to make a start in the mortgage industry!
She has previous experience in the insurance industry, and is passionate about providing the best service possible to all of her clients.
Stacey enjoys spending time with her young son, and being out and about with family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the latest true crime documentary on Netflix.
Fiona Diaz Baker
Fiona has recently joined Wolsey after working in Retail Banking for over 25 years, always delivering great customer service to her clients. Fiona spends her spare time socialising with family and friends. She loves travelling, visiting lots of different countries and cultures and also enjoys her many fitness and gym classes.
Sophie Wakeling
Sophie has been with Wolsey for 3 years starting off as an administrator and gaining CEMAP before progressing to become a Mortgage Broker. She has previous experience within the insurance industry too and prides herself on delivering high customer service to all her clients.
Sophie enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She has just welcomed a new fury addition into her family which is certainly keeping her on her toes.
James Groom
James has had over 25 years’ experience in Financial Services working as a Financial Adviser and an Area Manager with Forester Life and as a Financial Adviser with Lloyds Bank. He is now the Protection Adviser specialist with Wolsey Mortgage Company. James prides himself in ensuring that all of his clients have the correct insurance policies in place and that they are adequately protected.
In his spare time, James enjoys spending time with his family, is a keen fisherman and enjoys watching local football.
Sarah Gilder
With over 20 years banking experience, Sarah worked through the ranks to become a Customer Service Manager before joining Wolsey Mortgage Company. Sarah’s banking experience provided her with great organisational and people skills which she applies to her role within Wolsey Mortgage Company.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on long walks in the countryside and also gardening.
